Christmas Eve Prayer

Although our office closed at 5PM on Fri 21 Dec, my Christmas break didn't really start until today, because from Dec 21 to Dec 23 I was ill. My fever subsided this morning, and I was able to get a bit of last-minute Christmas shopping done. I noticed that during my illness, I tried to pray more for other people instead of myself. In particular, I thought about Sarah Burchnall, who is battling cancer. What began seven months ago as a lump in her breast has pierced her chest wall and is now a tumour in her aorta. If you are reading this, please say a prayer for my friend Sarah. This might be her last Christmas Eve. She's not quite twenty years old.
